Volunteer Internship Programs
Our society is struggling with immensely significant problems, problems which call for fresh minds, unusual perspectives, and new approaches. The youth can and WANT to take them on. Let’s make a way for them to do this!
Youth Ambassadors is a volunteer internship program to capacitate youth who want to take on the challenge of solving the social problems they see around them. The internship provides skills training, personal development, and professional skill development under the supervision of experienced mentors. We expect that the interns will give freely of their time and efforts to their own communities in on-going voluntary service.
We work with youth from ANY socio-economic, educational or ethnic backgrounds—ALL are needed if we hope to bring about a lasting change for ourselves and for our interconnected communities.
All we ask is that the interns demonstrate a vision for social change, commitment to learn and grow, and dedication to put in the needed volunteer hours.
The participants will also gain personal benefits as they enhance their professional portfolio (via relevant certification and CV entries), expand their horizons (with training and exposure visits), and groom themselves as community leaders in their own individual capacities.
